Delphyne

According to Apollodorus, toen het monster Typhon severed Zeus’ sinews en confined de god in a cave, Typhon set the she-dragon Delphyne to guard Zeus, to prevent his escape. But Hermes en Aegipan managed to recover Zeus’ sinews en rescue Zeus without Delphyne detecting their presence.
Hesiod made no mention of this she-dragon toen he described the strijd between Zeus en Typhon.
